While in winters we clad in grey and black business suits and jackets, it’s during summers that we can experiment with colours and combinations in terms of office wear. With rising temperatures and scorching heat, we give you five basic combinations that you need to have in your closet from Monday to Friday office wear. These combinations will not only help you glide through the week, but would also grab eyeballs and establish you as the new style icon in your office! (Who knows you might get to impress someone you’ve been eyeing for long?! ;))

 

Look 1: The best way to beat Monday blues is to wear blues. It’s time to invest in a sky blue colour trouser since sky blue is a nice summer-y colour and will make you look fresh on a Monday morning. I teamed this with a white shirt with blue dots. To complete the look and nail your morning presentation at work, add a sky blue floral tie. A little floral hurts no one. Team with a pair of brown shoes and don’t forget to add a dash of green polka dot socks.

Look 2: Since we already established changing our style game on day 1, let’s wear the colour of envy, green. Team a dark green self check shirt with a black trouser and black shoes. Carry your customised “Bespocut” tan leather bag to cruise through Tuesday.

Look 3: As the mid week crisis peak up, we feel grey and wait eagerly for the weekend to arrive. So why not wear a khadi mixed cotton grey trousers to work, unlike regular grey trousers this is self textured and can be worn on events also? Team this with a pair of crisp white shirt (we all have that one shirt) and brown shoes. Perfect for your mid week office lunch (date!) with someone you were eyeing!

Look 4: As we approach the weekend, let’s loosen up! And hey, you need to ask that someone for Friday night also! Let’s wear the Pantone colour of the season! So combine a purple shirt with a cream colour trouser, roll up your sleeve and you are oozing positive vibes!

Look 5: So finally it’s the last day, you already in the weekend mode, you have relaxation from office on strict formal code, so let’s utilize the opportunity and ditch the Oxford shirts for a less formal mandarin collar shirt. Pair a baby pink shirt with a steal grey blue colour trousers and customized patent maroon colour slip on. Put a big deer broach to add to your evening look for a perfect day. Even if your date doesn’t go as planned, your outfit will be.
